Team Romania Prayer Calendar

Hello friends and family! We are so thankful you all have been praying for the team and our preparation! God has been working in our lives non-stop and He has brought us within inches of our financial goal! Praise His Name! And we are so grateful for those of you who have contributed to that financial need. Also, special thank you's to all who have helped us with our  BBQ fundraisers! We couldn't have done it without you! 

Monday night, the team met for a "Packing Party" to pack all of our ministry supplies (crafts, games, etc.) and the remainder of our week will be spent preparing ourselves with sleep and packing our personal bags! We are so excited; the departure time is near! If you have been on a Romania missions team one of the previous years, we invite you to join us at the church for the final prayer meeting Thursday, July 16 at 6:15 am. And we also welcome anyone to come see us off as we depart from the church at 11 am Friday July 17th! 

The following is our schedule for the next 2 weeks, also including activities for which we desire prayer and corresponding Bible readings...

Friday-Saturday 7/17-18 (Psalm 27:1)

Depart and travel to Romania via London & 6 hr bus trip to Camp

Sunday 7/19 (John 17:15-18)

Orientation: Camp of the Good Shepherd, prepare camp for campers, team devotions and meetings.

FIRST WEEK OF CAMP

Monday 7/20 (Matt. 28:18-20)

AM-Meet and share with Romanian Team, Noon-Camp begins with Village teens, PM-First Team Romania Program.

Tuesday 7/21 (Joshua 1:9)

Joint prayer time, spirit of unity, good weather for full day of games and crafts.

Wednesday 7/22 (1 John 1:3-4)

Camp Hike-Safety, music workshop, build and bond camper relationships.

Thursday 7/23 (Ephesians 6:7)

Joyful support of Romanian Bible study, daily faithfulness to servanthood.

Friday 7/24 (Hebrews 12:12)

Picture day, Americans vs. Romanians Volleyball, campfire sharing.

Saturday 7/25 (Zech. 8:16)

Campers depart, camp clean-up, visit town of Sibiu.

Sunday 7/26 (Psalm 100)

Worship with Romanian Church, Meet and fellowship with new Romanian Leader & Team.

SECOND WEEK OF CAMP

Monday 7/27 (Galatians 5:22-23)

Camp begins, Orlat Teen Girls & Disadvantaged Teen Girls

Tuesday 7/28 (James 13:18)

Unity between 2 teen girl groups, sportsmanship in team games

Wednesday 7/29 (Psalm 139:14-18)

Cabin checks, Music workshop, movie time

Thursday 7/30 (Phillipians 2:3)

Camp hike-Safety, craft- art competition, teens sing in evening program

Friday 7/31 (Romans 8:37-39)

Picture day, campfire time, testimonials

Saturday 8/1 (Psalm 16)

Campers depart, Good-bye to Romanian Nat'l team, prepare camp for next USA Team, R&R @ Heart of Hope Retreat

Sunday 8/2 (2 Timothy 2:15)

Travel to Bucharest- 6 hrs, R&R in Bucharest.

Monday 8/3 (Psalm 23)

Travel to USA via London, Arrival LAX 3:05 pm, home to Camarillo!
